I’m a global strategist with 20 years’ experience transforming brands, working with companies including Unilever, Coca-Cola, AB InBev and Nike. It’s been far from a boring ride.
At Ogilvy I helped establish Dove’s Campaign for Real Beauty, challenging unhealthy beauty stereotypes. At Leo Burnett I helped build the THINK! road safety brand for the UK Government and won an IPA Effectiveness Award for proving that we helped save over 1,000 lives. At Wieden + Kennedy Amsterdam I was part of the team that created Heineken’s first global campaign with ‘Open Your World’ and won the Cannes Effectiveness Grand Prix for it, and at Wieden + Kennedy New York I helped turn Bud Light into a cultural phenomenon with ‘Dilly Dilly’ and a multi-media medieval universe. I then returned to Europe, first to revitalise BETC’s London office, then in a wider role leading strategy globally.
In 2021 I founded ‘Untapped Strategy’, an independent consultancy helping brands turns problems into possibility, working with established brands like Nike and O2, scale-ups like Hellas Direct and causes like the Ukrainian National Ballet.
I’ve managed offices, built diverse teams, won pitches, helped inspire all kinds of work, proved its effectiveness and had a lot of fun. Along the way I’ve been lucky enough to partner with the best creative minds in the business and had the opportunity to live and work in London, Amsterdam, New York and Paris. I can currently be found amongst the canals of Amsterdam with my wife, two young sons and three bicycles.
