Hector Saracho is Head of Strategy at what if (digital marketing agency) where he leads the strategic ventures and helps ignite the agency’s creative process.
In a past (though not so distant) professional life, Hector worked as an Investment Banker in London before deciding to reinvent himself into advertising.
This would prove harder than anticipated, as his Banking CV got no replies from any decent ad agency in town. He finally managed to infiltrate the brand world with the “advertising enemy“ as a Quant Researcher at Millward Brown (WPP) where he invested a few great years learning how to analyse consumers and advertising effectiveness.
Still within the WPP family he moved from Research to Planning (and from the UK to Spain) working for Y&R.
After undertaking a senior planning role in a multinational he chose to “enter the Matrix” at an independent digital marketing agency where he accepted his current role as Head of Strategy.
Hector has a degree in Business Administration and has never felt fully comfortable writing his bio in the third person.
